I spent the last few days of 2011 with Jian and his dad at Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija for a little R&R a.k.a. bass fishing. Definitely surprised myself by going, but I`m grateful for the bonding experience.

Also, the cold lake air, speedboat-enduced wind, and noontime sun are guilty of drawing me back to the humble beginnings of oversized comfort dressing. (That, and I was rather confused when Jian told me to pack for both really cold and really hot temperatures.) Nature really does have a way of making one pleasantly laid back.

I hope everyone was just as rejuvenated before welcoming 2012. Happy new year!
