29 October 2011: Ni hao from Beijing!

I had to edit this post and temporarily remove some photos because of personal reasons, though fortunately I can retain the outfit shots.

It was rather dim when I arrived in Beijing the previous afternoon, and completely dark when I arrived at the hotel, so I couldn`t take photos considering I`m not quite adept with my speedlite yet. The rest of the day was allotted for shopping at the Silk Market and basically just walking around near the hotel. As excited as I was to dress up for the autumnal weather, it still took me a while to get used to the cold.
