Something old. Would you believe I`ve had this sweater since I was a high school sophomore? I used to wear it over my uniform almost everyday then, because the classrooms in Poveda could get really cold. I haven`t worn it in a while because I`ve been favoring oversized sweaters, but I actually couldn`t believe that it only occurred to me yesterday to wear it as a top. I was also pleasantly surprised to notice that the lovely navy stripes haven`t faded one bit.
Something new. This isn`t my first post wearing these white sky-high Feet for a Queen wedges, but I just can`t get enough of them since they`ve arrived in my mail last week. The white leatherette stays superb even when used in the rain. The wedges are also as comfortable as they can get in all their 5.5” glory.

The gorgeous Alayne Maxino was my photographer for the day.

And Ernest was our official onlooker!

Alayne and I went to A Trendsetter’s Bazaar in Rockwell Tent after classes.

These babies are just a Php180 a pair, and they`re all personally made by Maxine. Unfortunately, she was too shy to join in the photo.

Look how divine these chain earrings are! They can be found at Maxine`s joint booth with Rex clothing, right beside…

The I Heart Matilda booth!

Meet sisters Jessica and Chin Gallegos of I Heart Matilda. When asked about the story behind the name of their store, they said it was inspired by Matilda, the girl with powers from the movie based on the Roald Dahl novel. Their brand, I Heart Matilda, enables women to be “whoever they want to be” when wearing their clothes. She can be dainty or edgy, sweet or sassy. Inspiring, yes?
Visit Maxine`s booth and I Heart Matilda at A Trendsetter`s Bazaar held in the Rockwell Tent until Sunday, October 9, 2011!
